The Gopibai Damani Blood Bank was established in association with the Red Cross and the Solapur Collector’s office, with the help of the Damani family in 1958.
Blood is universally recognized as the most precious element that sustains life. The need for blood is great on any given day, approximately 39,000 units of Red Blood Cells are needed.
