For Jamshri, responsibility has never been a department. It has taken the form of schools and public-health institutions, alongside homes and care for the city.
The belief behind it is told in our story. This is what it built.
Impact

People first
Through the mill years, Jamshri's deepest responsibility was to its own people, and the record shows it.
Embedded in how we operate
Long before ESG was a checklist, Jamshri treated energy, water and materials as things to respect, and was recognised nationally for it.
The mill is being reused, its structures and memory carried into Jamshri City rather than cleared away.
Water systems and conservation designed into how the campus operates day to day.
An on-site solar plant today, continuing an energy-conscious streak that ran the mill partly on bagasse, decades before cogeneration was common.
Two SRTEPC export awards in 1989–90 and 1990–91, followed by a national Certificate of Merit for energy conservation in 2015–16.
Plantation and vermicomposting support produce grown on site. The work is maintained and recorded over time.
One thread across the decades
Today
Because responsibility and sustainability have always been lived rather than labelled, a formal ESG framework is not yet in place. It is now taking shape to make this work measurable and open to scrutiny. The company's governance policies are available in the investor hub.
